Basic Moldmaking
Learn the basics. Get to know the different moldmaking materials ... and when to use which-one ... get hands-On experience ... make your first casting and learn about different techniques and all the materials available - like resin-art, Jesmonite, Casting-Stone etc. We will also tell you what NOT TO DO - how to avoid the beginners mistakes - and safe yourself a lot of money. You will learn how to prepare your model with the appropriate use of release agents. Each participant will make a simple one-piece mold and a die-cast mold with a cutting division. Finally, a casting is made with PU-resin. Models are provided.
