NOVOCS™ Lösungsmittel sind Silikonlösungsmittel mit niedriger Viskosität, die schnell verdunsten. NOVOCS™ ist besonders nützlich, um Psycho Paint® Silikon-Farbbasis zu verdünnen, damit sie mit einem Pinsel oder einer Airbrush auf gehärtetem Platin-Silikonkautschuk für Requisiten und Prothesen aufgetragen werden kann. Wenn es als Lösungsmittel zum Verdünnen von Silikonfarben oder Oberflächenbeschichtungen verwendet wird, hinterlässt NOVOCS™ Matte einen matten Finish.

- NOVOCS™ solvents are low viscosity silicone solvents that evaporate quickly.
- NOVOCS™ Matte leaves a matte finish.
Important - Shake the NOVOCS™ container well before use.
Materials should be stored and used in a warm environment of 23°C. This material has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize the risk of contamination.
Mix the A and B components of two-component silicone systems before adding NOVOCS™. Add the desired amount of NOVOCS™ solvent to create a thinner silicone mixture that can be brushed or airbrushed onto the surface of a cured silicone casting.
Example recommended proportions for use:
When added to Psycho Paint, add between 200%-400% NOVOCS™ solvent by weight
When adding to Sil-Poxy, add between 300%-500% NOVOCS™ solvent by weight
Because no two applications are alike, a small test application is recommended to determine suitability for your project if the performance of this material is compromised.
